Find and Keep Work That Builds Independence and Confidence
For people living with a serious mental illness, employment can be an important step to recovery—it improves self-esteem, builds a routine, and reduces stress. Guild’s Supported Employment services follow the Individual Placement and Support (IPS) model, which integrates competitive work into the recovery process. Clients receive personalized, one-on-one coaching, interview preparation, connection to job opportunities, and continued support after placement to help them achieve financial stability and greater independence.
Employment Services - Individual Placement and Support
Employment Services help individuals determine career interests, search for jobs of their choice, and prepare for interviews. We also provide coaching on maintaining employment, navigating disclosure to employers, and partnering with treatment teams and vocational services to ensure long-term stability and career success.
